Cheryl

Since I was a young girl, I have taken photographs of everyday moments and happenings in my life. Whether it be family events or just hanging out with friends, I always have been known to have a camera with me. However, it wasn't until I was in my 30's when my friends started getting married and having babies that I really started enjoying the art of photography. It became my passion and I love capturing the moments that may seem insignificant at the time but will live forever in photos. I started doing newborn and portrait photography for just close friends and I was so excited to learn new things. The passion grew into a career! A friend introduced me to someone who owned her own photography business and they specialized in weddings. I wasn't sure I wanted to do weddings but after the first one I went to, I was hooked. Why wedding and portrait photography? I am thrilled to have a job that allows me to explore my creativity while documenting significant moments in my clients lives. At every portrait/engagement session or wedding I learn something about love, life and relationships. It is a great honor to witness and document the love, emotion and growing relationships of my clients. I am grateful every day to have such a fulfilling job. I'm lucky to be following my heart. Every day that goes by I am thankful for the opportunities to capture special moments in someone's life.
