I am ready to schedule my engagement session. What’s the next step?

We include an engagement session with all of our wedding packages. We find them to be a great time to connect and get to know you better before the wedding day. We offer these session at our preferred locations around the area including: Lettuce Lake ParkYbor CityDavis Island Garden Club and Yacht Club, the University of Tampa campus, and our favorite field in Lutz. Expect a small fee for us to travel far or to shoot on a Saturday or Sunday (since they are prime wedding days). Schedule your session today by filling out the form below.

Description of locations

Ybor City:($ fee for parking garage) 2010 N 13Th St Tampa FL

Ybor city features historic old buildings, railroad tracks and brick alleys. It gives off a grungy historic feel, but still slightly urban.

Downtown Tampa & University of Tampa: ($ fee for parking garage) 770 North B Street, Tampa, FL

Downtown Tampa features great architecture, dramatic skyline views, large sculptures and the gardens at the University of Tampa. This location gives a VERY urban feel and a serene garden area at the university.

Lettuce Lake Park: ($2 fee to enter the park, cash only) 6920 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL

Lettuce Lake Park features huge old oak trees, tranquil pathways, long wooden boardwalks and a small lake area. This location has a wonderful nature park feel and the boardwalk area is great for some cute photographs. This venue is a beautiful natural Florida feel with its cypress tress and boardwalks through the cypress domes.

The Lutz Feild: (meet at the Studio 1927 Passero Ave, and follow photographer)

The Lutz field is a great venue located just around the corner from our home studio. There is a dirt road lined with pine trees, as well as a large open field. This location is great to bring props or your pet to. This location adds a great natural outdoor feel to the photographs.

Tips!

Wear something comfortable! Make sure you are able to walk around easily in your shoes and your clothes aren’t too tight or too short. We love doing fun posing where you and your honey are sitting down or walking together.

Wear something you feel beautiful in! If you are self-concious of your legs then wear pants that covers and flatters them. If you are self-concious of your arms, wear a top that covers and flatters. We don’t recommend short skirts/shorts or tank tops unless you’ve been working out like crazy and can’t wait to show off your muscles!

Coordinate your colors. Make sure you look good together and don’t have clashing tones or patterns. Also consider wearing clothes that will match your wedding day. That way you can easily use them for Save-the-Dates or to have on display at the wedding.

Avoid bringing more than one outfit change. Bringing a bunch of different outfits takes time away from shooting. We have found that doing 1 outfit per shoot gets you a fun variety of poses. If you change and do 2 outfits you get a variety of looks but when you do more than that you end up with less variety of posing and less to pick from.

Bring props! Props are a great way to show off some personality. Feel free to bring things relating to your life, hobbies, job or activities that you do together. You can also bring signs with your upcoming wedding date on it. Have fun with it! Our pinterest and blog is full of great ideas!
